About Wendy
One person, start to finish
In many salons one person greets you, another washes, and a third finishes. Not here. Wendy does the consultation, picks the product, applies the treatment, and shows you how to care for it at home.
If your hair is not ready for a smoothing treatment, she will say so. She would rather you come back with healthy hair than come back to repair damage.

So the treatment lasts
What you do in the first 72 hours and the shampoo you pick decide how long a smoothing treatment lasts. These are the rules Wendy repeats at every appointment.
Wait 72 hours
No water, hair ties, ponytails or hats for the first three days after a smoothing treatment. The product is still setting.
Sulfate-free shampoo
Sulfates over-clean and strip the treatment early. We tell you which one to use.
Heat with a protectant
If you use a flat iron or blow dryer, always with a heat protectant. Unprotected heat dries out what we just hydrated.
Touch up on time
Every three to five months, depending on your hair. Book the touch-up before the frizz comes back, not after.

What people ask before they book
Does smoothing damage hair?
It depends on the product and on the state of your hair. That is why the consultation comes first: if the hair is weak, Wendy recommends repairing before smoothing.
How long does the smoothing last?
Usually three to five months, depending on your hair type and home care. We tell you which shampoo to use so it lasts longer.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Wendy sees one client at a time so she can give you the full session. Send a note and we confirm a day and time.
How do I know what it will cost?
At the consultation, before anything starts. The price depends on length and condition, and you get the whole number, not pieces of it.
